About the Artist
Science, History, and Wearable Art
Welcome! My name is Carolyn, and I create one-of-a-kind jewelry that bridges the gap between ancient history, Earth science, and handcrafted art.
Grounded in Geology
My journey with gemstones started in the classroom and out in the field. I majored in geology, falling in love with the incredible stories rocks and crystals tell us about the history of our planet. As an avid history buff and a grandmother of four, I am passionate about preserving the past and passing down meaningful stories to the next generation.
Straight From the Earth
Every summer, I head out into nature to mine for raw gemstones. Over the years, I have built a beautiful personal collection of natural North Carolina rubies, sapphires, garnets, and emeralds straight from the earth.

Giving History a Second Life
My jewelry philosophy is simple: giving history a second life. Whether I am repurposing beautiful emeralds from an authentic vintage heirloom necklace or wrapping a fragment of genuine, 2,000-year-old ancient Roman glass, I design with deep respect for the materials.

I use minimalist, flowing wire-wrapping techniques to let the natural texture, color, and historical character of each stone shine through.
Wearable Earth History
When you wear one of my handcrafted pieces, you aren’t just wearing an accessory—you are wearing a certified piece of Earth's history, hand-mined, repurposed, and crafted with love.
